“West Virginia Red” finds Danny Roberts serving up a rapid-fire original. The lithe instrumental gets it’s name from the mandolin that Roberts plays on all the songs and its beautiful West Virginia red spruce top. Danny also jokes that it’s named after good friend Amanda Smith (Kenny and Amanda Smith Band) and her West Virginia red streak.
