Syntax Creative Clients Take 45 Nominations for the 35th Annual IBMA Awards
DESCRIPTION:
Written and led by guitarist Carson Aaron, “What Mercy Means” was inspired by the story of Moses meeting God on Mount Sinai. He sought to capture that divine tension between a holy God and an unholy man, drawing a parallel between Moses’ encounter and his own experience of grace. The song reflects on the awe and fear of standing before a perfect God, yet finding mercy instead of judgment. Eighteen Miles’ last single, “Above The Clouds,” has already topped the Bluegrass Today Gospel chart.
