DESCRIPTION:

As lifelong Smashing Pumpkins fans, The Royal Halls wanted to pay homage to one of their biggest influences, in their own way.

The Royal Halls, a loosely Americana, indie rock band from the Buffalo area, has been playing together since 2009. Primarily driven by Justin Reynolds and Brennan Blowers, they aim at writing songs that make people feel something deep. They hope to write something that takes the listener away from the struggle of day to day life. With a thoughtful mix of country, new wave, and indie the band takes all that they love, and wraps it up neatly for those take the time to listen. Their rock influences include Ryan Adams, The War on Drugs, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers and Bears Den. Currently finishing the writing process for a new full-length, The Royal Halls plan to deliver the best material they’ve had, in 2023.

KEY SELLING POINTS

  • Sound is best described as alt-country and Americana, and stems as the brainchild of singer-songwriter J. Reynolds and multi-instrumentalist Brennan Blowers.
  • Songs about heartbreak, loss, and love are the thematic constants, bringing the listener creatively to more introspective and contemplative places.
