Syntax Creative Clients Take 45 Nominations for the 35th Annual IBMA Awards
DESCRIPTION:
Vickie Vaughn’s “Travel On” is a funky acoustic anthem of escape. Here, Vaughn and her studio band give voice to a deliciously modern spin on Bill Monroe’s 1959 hit, “Gotta Travel On.” It’s an exuberant performance with an outro where each instrument trades sizzling licks before Vaughn jumps in to close it out on bass. The track was produced by Deanie Richardson of GRAMMY-nominated Sister Sadie.
