From its opening implied sleigh bells and the audible pictures that sound evokes, Tennessee family band Williamson Branch‘s new Christmas single, “Very Merry Christmas,” is a winterland acoustic delight and a great way to usher in the seasons. Given the band’s bluegrass tradition, this is surprisingly not a cover of the Buck Owens classic, yet an original new classic. Nothing like singing a few rounds of, “Ho ho ho, here we go, there’s magic in the air…” to get the yuletide vibes flowing!
