DESCRIPTION:

In the late 1950s, Cha Cha dance music made waves in the U.S., with Argueso & His Orchestra at the forefront. Their 1959 track “Cha Cha #4” is a classic of the genre that helped introduce Latin music to a broad American audience. Freddy Fresh’s remix honors this legacy while infusing it with a driving four-on-the-floor beat—a timeless groove that has kept people dancing since the disco era. By blending classic Latin sounds with this modern, dance-floor-tested pulse, Freddy brings new life to a vintage gem for today’s listeners.

The first single from this waterfall release, “A La Vuelta Mundo Mambo (Freddy Fresh Remix)”, recently peaked at #3 on the NACC World Adds, #6 NACC Music Meeting Directory Singles, and has garnered support from several radio stations including KEXP, one of the largest non-commercial AAA stations in the U.S.
