The verses move through long drives, quick stops in Little Rock, weeks in an Airbnb, and hour-long commutes while trying to keep everything afloat. Just when things start to settle, the car gets repossessed, jobs hang by a thread, and another move is already on the horizon. By the time he circles back to Columbus, life looks different. A new child and a hard-earned sense of peace finally start to settle in.
