DESCRIPTION:

Mountain Fever Records presents the new single, “Tend to My Flowers” from Cedar Hill, a traditional bluegrass band from the Ozark’s of Arkansas and Missouri. The smooth clear vocals by Dalton Harper, complimented by the award-winning instrumentation of the band, will transport you back in time to the sounds similar to the likes of Keith Whitley.

“Tend to My Flowers” speaks about the heart-wrenching issues of Alzheimer’s disease and aging that many can relate to. In February, Cedar Hill hit #2 on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 bluegrass song chart with “How Deep is the Lonesome” written by bluegrass hit songwriter Mark “Brink Brinkman” and Kevin T. Hale. Both songs are included on the band’s upcoming album, New Chapter releasing this fall on Mountain Fever Records.

As just announced by the International Bluegrass Music Association, Cedar Hill has been chosen as an IBMA Official Showcase Artist and will perform during the IBMA Bluegrass Ramble September 28-October 2, 2021, in Raleigh, N.C.

Cedar Hill is led by Frank Ray who has been the recipient of numerous great honors during his impressive career. He was inducted into the National Traditional Country Music Association’s Hall of Fame in 2008, received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, and inducted into the SPBGMA Hall of Greats and as a Pioneer of Missouri Bluegrass by the Missouri Bluegrass Preservation Association last year.

The band has received numerous awards and accolades, both individually and as a group, during their long-lasting career. They have stayed consistent and true to their Ozark roots with their signature emotional brand of bluegrass music with the talents of Frank Ray on mandolin and vocals; Bill Cross on banjo and vocals; Pete Brown on fiddle and vocals; Patti LaFleur on bass and vocals; and Dalton Harper on guitar and vocals.
