Isaiah La’Roi Liburd was born in Saint Martin, a tiny island split between the French and the Dutch. Moving to Florida at the age of five, Isaiah is thankful for how the two cultures blended perfectly. His final move landed him in Nashville, Tennessee as he pursued his music. Formerly known as “Chosen,” IsaiahLaRoi has decided to use his real name as his career moves forward. The name IsaiahLaRoi captures the duality of his upbringing. When asked why, IsaiahLaRoi explains, “As I am Chosen I am also IsaiahLaRoi; a regular man who serves and fears the Lord.”

Relationships surround us our entire lives and they drive the way we act, think and care for each other. Most relationships only go skin deep — marriages and true friendships go beyond that. “I’ll Be Around,” the new single from IsaiahLaRoi explores the difficult decision to open up to someone. To allow another to be part of your healing journey is hard. “I’ll be around and so will my hurt, but,” says IsaiahLaRoi, “together me and God can use it to better me.”
