This new effort from Sand Diego-based emcee Jeremiah Bonds is sure be an instant crowd-pleaser. On the track, the relationship between the raw bass guitar foundation, gritty drum-break beat, and Bonds’ rhythmic flow is instantly gratifying. Put it all together with a melodic chorus and half-time bridge break down, and “Blessed to Breathe” is a new one—that sounds like an old one—for all the ages.
