DESCRIPTION:

After his successful Valentine’s Day ’20 LP release (Load the Wagon), Junior Sisk is finally back and emphatically announces hit return with new single “I Wanna Be Where You Are.” A banjo-driven, toe-tapping love song, this slightly alt-country jam is signature Sisk. The song’s theme revolves around the Chorus’ sweet sentiments, “I wanna see what you see/I wanna hold you close/Whisper your name/And breathe the air you breathe,” accentuated with brisk fiddle solos and crispy, catchy vocals.

Releasing worldwide today on Mountain Fever Records, this touching song about love was written by Michael Stillwell and David Stewart and describes how we can become inspired to move beyond our comfort zone to new horizons when we are in love. Junior is accompanied by his renowned band for this track, was recorded at Mountain Fever Studio, and produced by Aaron Ramsey (2021 International Bluegrass Music Association nominee for Engineer of the Year).

Junior Sisk is currently nominated for three 2021 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards: Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (Load the Wagon), and Song of the Year “Just Load the Wagon.”
