As part of Ramblers Choice, Junior Sisk solidified his rising bluegrass stock by earning the IBMA Album of the Year Award in 2012. Its single “A Far Cry from Lester and Earl,” which Sisk co-wrote, became a rallying cry for a resurgence of traditional sounds in bluegrass—which also won Song of the Year. Additionally, Sisk is a two-time Vocalist of the Year bestowed by IBMA and SPBGMA. As a solo artist on Mountain Fever Records, Sisk continues his momentum by having a #1 charting radio hit on his previous LP release.
