The term “Afro Frontier” was recently coined by historian Dr. Timothy E. Nelson. He studies the western movement of African Americans from the south post slavery. As they recorded this song, Village KNG realized they were standing in a moment. Looking back, past accomplishments, victories, failures and losses can be seen. But they made a decision to looking ahead too. There are new discoveries to be made. “Afro Frontier” is the theme music to those moments ahead that await us.
