Formerly a member of the Deer Creek Boys, Andy Lowe shows off his expert banjo skills once again on this new single while Jake Greer lends vocals. Lowe came across “On the Lonesome Wind” when it was co-written by Ronnie McCoury and cut by the mighty Del McCoury Band. Although that recording suited them to a tee, Lowe was looking to turn it just a few degrees in a new direction. He and some of his picking buddies worked up this arrangement several years ago, and dusted it off for this project. This track is full of energy and attitude.
