DESCRIPTION:
“Dark Rolling Deep” is a haunting ballad of love, loss, and the old superstitions of the sea. Set in the age of wooden ships and sailor folklore, the song tells the story of a woman who follows her captain-husband to sea, despite warnings from the crew. As storms rise and the ocean reveals her jealous nature, tragedy strikes. Now, all that remains is a ghost, a memory, and the deep’s dark pull.
