Sometimes we find ourselves in over our heads. Like a daydream, or just aimlessly blowing in the wind—while not very practical and often not fruitful—there’s a whimsical quality to the act of what some call, “chasing rainbows,” that make it all seem so harmless, anyway. Casey Penn‘s debut solo single for Mountain Fever Records allows the listener a brief hiatus of real life, and floats them off into three minutes of blissful wonderment—all backed by an inviting folky/grassy soundtrack.
