About the focus track, “Stanley Sound” | An ode to the late, great, bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley, Cedar Hill make no secrets about where their major musical influences lay on “Stanley Sound”—one of eleven tracks on new Mountain Fever Records LP, New Chapter (street: 3/4/22). Cedar Hill are somewhat legends in their own right. Formed in the late 60s, their music is beloved the world over, and in this case ‘new chapters’ don’t mean an abandonment of their core strengths. Ralph would be honored and proud of this particular association.
