This song was a collaboration between Christian Ward, Cory Walker, and Harry Clark. After a long night trading stories and tall tales, they let their minds drift into a world shaped by music and the past. The result is a strange, time-bending tale, drawn from the “way back when” days of a future that hasn’t happened yet. It’s a dysfunctional journey, one that many soul-searching travelers will live through more than once. 2024 IBMA New Artist of the Year, East Nash Grass is set apart by their ability to be themselves and have fun.
