Ryan Wallen wrote this song on “The Hill” at his parents’ farm, beneath an old satellite dish. His father cherished music, not just for the sound but for how it brought people together. “The Hill” was their gathering place, where the family would ride dirt bikes and play music all night. Though his father passed before Ryan picked up guitar, his spirit lingers in every gathering.

The David Mayfield Parade brings together musicians from across Ohio. The lineup includes frontman David Mayfield, bassist Graham Bell, two-time national banjo champion Steven Moore, and recent additions Ryan and Keith Wallen. They’ve been crafting their debut album of all-original material, aiming to make their mark on the music industry.
