“Barbry Allen” is a traditional ballad about a young man who falls in love with Barbry Allen, but is rejected by her. When he becomes ill and dies, Barbry Allen realizes her true feelings for him and is overcome with grief. “Aaron Ramsey sang the absolute fire out of this one, and now Barbry Allen has been raised from the dead with new life,” says Lowe.

Listeners may recognize Andy Lowe’s signature hard-hitting banjo style from his days as a member of the Deer Creek Boys. He can often be found jamming banjo with the hottest pickers in the industry. Andy is excited to share his upcoming project, Nervous Energy, being released later this summer.
