“Alone Again” is inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s poem Alone. It captures his dark worldview and reflects on the isolation of his childhood. The song begins with a slow, mournful pace, before shifting into a faster, more upbeat section. This change mirrors the haunting imagery of Poe’s original poem, but maintains the same minor melody throughout.
