EAST NASH GRASS
“Railroadin’ & Gamblin’ “
DESCRIPTION:
This version of “Railroadin’ & Gamblin’ ” is a nod to the earlier generations of bluegrass musicians. Yet it also allows space for forward progression. East Nash Grass chose to cover this song because, as they told us: “We started getting threats on little sticky notes on our cars for us to record Railroadin & Gamblin’ or else. We had to look it up and find it. We figured it’s better to be safe than sorry, so we recorded it.” – East Nash Grass.
“Railroadin’ & Gamblin’ ” was first recorded by Middle Tennessee native Uncle Dave Macon. It is the opening single from the band’s full-length album with Mountain Fever Records, which is set to release later this year.
