Sometimes we all need a distraction—and when a broken heart’s involved, a distraction is certainly welcomed. This time, for Hammertowne‘s newest single, it’s the trickle of raindrops on a tin roof to blame for another sleepless night. Although the song’s narrator in “I’ll Blame It on the Rain” is admittedly wrought with thoughts of a lost love, at least this night the wind, the leaves, and the storms above will provide for a needed excuse. This is Hammertowne’s first new music since 2019.
