“Early Sign” is inspired by a first date in Oregon, painted by the dark greens and grays of the Pacific Northwest. The song was written right at the edge of the highway where the mountains drop down and hit the coastline.

MacMillan is a songwriter/musician specializing in bluegrass, country, soft rock and folk music. He’s penned songs for acts such as East Nash Grass, Amanda Cook, Jaelee Roberts. He also writes for The Theo & Brenna Band, a bluegrass band fronted by his sister and himself. Theo has toured and produced multiple bluegrass records with the Theo & Brenna Band and can be seen performing at writer’s rounds and pop-up shows around Nashville.
