“The One That’s Broken” paints a tense portrait of a relationship on the brink of collapse. The lyrics simmer with frustration and simmering anger, fueled by a web of accusations and blame. The singer confronts their partner saying, “maybe YOU’RE the one that’s broken.”

MacMillan is a songwriter/musician specializing in bluegrass, country, soft rock and folk music. He’s penned songs for acts such as East Nash Grass, Amanda Cook, Jaelee Roberts. He also writes for The Theo & Brenna Band, a bluegrass band fronted by his sister and himself. Theo has toured and produced multiple bluegrass records with the Theo & Brenna Band and can be seen performing at writer’s rounds and pop-up shows around Nashville.
